The challenge

The biggest challenge was the huge number of products and categories on the website, all of which needed to be optimised from an SEO perspective but also for user experience. We also had to work with the limitations of the website’s platform, which meant finding different solutions where necessary.

This industry is also highly competitive with many larger competitors vying for the same SEO rankings and bidding on the same PPC keywords. With many of these competitors having multiple high street stores, we also had to work on building brand awareness and trust with our campaigns and strategies.

The solution

In order to see some quick improvements, we hit the ground running with our minimum PPC package, providing highly optimised and targeted campaigns that offered low cost-per-click and good returns. This strategy worked well and Party Save Smile invested the profits into SEO work and email marketing.

Our SEO strategy saw us increase link equity by building high-quality links while fixing dangerous links. We also provided in-depth recommendations for on-page content so category pages could be improved by Party Save Smile’s team.

We also created an email marketing strategy to increase engagement and drive sales. This included regular marketing emails, as well as automated emails including a welcome sequence, event reminders and review request sequence.
