Founder & CEO

Matt is a leading figure in search engine optimisation, with over twenty years of experience in eCommerce and digital marketing. After years of running his own eCommerce businesses and then consulting for digital marketing agencies, in 2016, he decided to set up Marketing Labs.

It says a lot about the business that his first three retainer clients are still with Marketing Labs today – and this hasn’t gone unnoticed. The business has racked up an impressive list of accolades, and Matt himself was awarded the best newcomer CEO at the Business Awards UK in 2022.

Outside work, Matt would say that his proudest achievement is being a father. If he could choose to do anything with his free time, it would be spending time with his little boy, watching him learn new things and explore the world.

Matt is a keen amateur photographer and an avid fan of Nottingham Forest (he got his first season ticket when he was seven years old). He can often be overheard discussing the weekend’s matches on a Monday morning in the office!
