The challenge
The biggest challenge we faced was the local competition from surrounding village vet practices, as well as larger, non-independent vet practices that benefit from greater brand awareness and larger marketing budgets.
The solution
We targeted local searches for vet practices with Google Ads campaigns, helping to raise awareness and website traffic from people in the areas around both practices. This ensured that enquiries and traffic were relevant to Croft.
We also created and implemented a content strategy for category pages, services pages and the blog. This ensured that information was relevant and helpful while also helping to target relevant keywords and long-tail searches. Not only was the strategy aimed at improving organic traffic, but we also wanted to ensure Croft Vets is viewed as a trustworthy expert.
Keyword monitoring allowed us to track rankings and to look for opportunities to improve pages that were ranking using on-page SEO tactics.
To further help with building local awareness and brand trust, we created and implemented a social media strategy using organic posting across two Facebook pages for Croft Vets. We also provided support to extend this strategy across new social media platforms.
