Client case study

Hooton Pagnell Hall

Project overview

Hooton Pagnell Hall is a well-established wedding venue with a long and amazing history, making it a popular wedding destination in the South Yorkshire area.

They contacted us to help them redevelop their brand and create a new website that fully reflected this. The website would also include details about their expanded offering as they were developing new estate rooms for accommodation and creating a new website. The brand refresh needed to showcase their complete service offering.

The challenge

The existing website was outdated with branding and a user journey that wasn’t quite hitting the spot. Hooton Pagnell Hall wanted a site and brand that was modern and classy but also that was relevant to them and their business. However, they were concerned that the changes could confuse potential new clients.

The vision for the rebrand also had to be aligned internally, which was a challenge as there were a lot of people having input within the business. This meant bringing together everyone’s ideas into a cohesive brand that helped meet business goals while also showing the venue in the most elegant and professional way possible.

The solution

We started with a complete overhaul of the brand. This meant bringing together multiple concepts and undertaking in-depth development processes with input from all stakeholders. The result was a timeless brand that would remain relevant to the venue for years to come.

The branding incorporated a relevant and attractive colour scheme, while keeping the overall look clean and simple. We produced potential illustrations to be used throughout marketing and kept in mind the fact that a lot of marketing activity would be based on visuals.

This branding was incorporated throughout the new website, offering a modern and user-friendly site with a great journey. The design benefitted from easy navigation and clear calls to action, as well as a lot of high-quality imagery.

We ensured that the website looked professional in order to connect with clients and showcase the venue. We also built it with development in mind for the in-house team so it could be easily maintained.
